Alterations to the website

Greater Edinburgh reserves the right, at anytime and without notice, to remove material it deems to be inappropriate or in breach of the website Terms and Conditions. Further, Greater Edinburgh maintains the right, at anytime to restrict or terminate your access to the website in the event of a violation of the Member Terms and Conditions. You will be notified if such action is taken. No refunds will be given for terminated Membership in the event of a breach of the terms and conditions.

Greater Edinburgh makes no guarantees to you the Member in regards to business generation, web traffic, search engine ranking or other benefits associated with being a member on this site.

Downtime and Refunds

Greater Edinburgh will take all reasonable efforts to ensure the website and Member content is operational and visible at all times. However the Member accepts and acknowledges that some technical problems might occasionally occur that are out with Greater Edinburgh's control and therefore Greater Edinburgh incurs no liability. Further the Member accepts and acknowledges that the site may occasionally be temporarily unavailable due to essential maintenance and security updates.

In extreme cases of downtime, (content is unavailable for more than two weeks in a year) an equivalent amount of additional Membership time will be added, by way of compensation.

No refunds will be given, except in the event of a billing error, or the continuous downtime exceeding one month. In the event of downtime exceeding one month a refund of the remainder of the Membership from the point of initial downtime will be given.

All content (text, images, information) submitted to Greater Edinburgh by you the Member remains under your full copyright. However by submitting your content to Greater Edinburgh you give express permission for Greater Edinburgh to use this content to promote your business and directly promote the Greater Edinburgh website via any media it deems necessary.

General

These terms and conditions and other specific terms of use appearing anywhere on the Greater Edinburgh website constitute the entire agreement of the parties in relation to the use of this site. If any of these terms and conditions are deemed, illegal, invalid or unenforceable, it shall be deleted from the terms and conditions and the remaining terms shall remain in full force and binding.

If you do not accept these terms and conditions you do not have permission to register your details with Greater Edinburgh and become a Member and therefore should terminate registration immediately.
