Escape to another world at this award-winning 5 star wildlife visitor centre! Exhilarating sea air and breathtaking panoramic views over the sea and beautiful sandy beaches. Enjoy a nose to beak encounter with wildlife using amazing live interactive cameras. Puffins cleaning their burrows in Spring, gannets with chicks, seals sunning themselves and even the occasional sightings of dolphins and whales. Experience the sights and sounds of sea journeys in our Migration Flyway and find out about challenges to our planet and its wildlife in our Environment Zone. Wildlife theatre, films, talks and a packed programme of festivals and events throughout the year. Daily boats trips to the islands from Easter until September. Bus: Regular bus services operate from Edinburgh (service no 124/ X5 run by First Edinburgh 0870 6082608) from Haddington (no 121 run by First Edinburgh) and from Dunbar (no 120 run by Eve Coaches 01368 865500).
Car: A direct and frequent service from Edinburgh and First ScotRail offers a fantastic deal - from £8.00 (adult) to include return travel and your admission to the Centre, plus a free courtesy bus to and from the station (July - 30th September only). Call First ScotRail on 08457 550033.
Train: Only 25 miles / 40kms from the centre of Edinburgh. The Scottish Seabird Centre and North Berwick are signposted from the A1.
