Greater Edinburgh has a tremendous range of Golf Courses to cater for all abilities. With over 80 courses in the area, there is certain to be a selection within a short distance from your accommodation.

There is a great deal of heritage to golf in the Greater Edinburgh Area. It is widely believed that Musselburgh Links, along with Leith Links, Bruntsfield Links and St Andrews, can claim to be amoungst the oldest Golf Courses in the world. Indeed it was here in 1929 that the putting hole size (4.5 inches) was decided and later adopted by St Andrews and the wider golfing community.*
