The Award winning Ashcroft Farmhouse is a 15 year old purpose built ranch-style Guest House with no stairs for guests to have to carry luggage up, making it the ideal base for your holiday. Elizabeth was runner up in the AA Landlady of the Year Awards in 2005 and Derek won first prize as West Lothian Business Gardener of the year in 2007 for his beautifully landscaped garden, which the guests can enjoy. All the ensuite bedrooms are named after famous Scottish Golf Courses; Dalmahoy, Gleneagles, Muirfield, Royal Troon, St Andrews and Turnberry and the Dining Room has lots of golf memorabilia including hickory golf clubs. Breakfasts are delicious with 7 choices using local produce cooked to perfection by Elizabeth and Derek, who have been providing B & B for over 46 years….a great team! We provide tea/coffee making facilities with Border biscuits, hot chocolate, and chocolates. There is a flat screen TV in the bedroom and we also provide free wireless internet access for guests with their own laptops. The Guest Lounge has a TV, VCR and DVD with lots of films to choose from and lots of books too. There is a bus stop nearby, but the added bonus is the free Park & Ride facility 4 miles away on the A71 where you leave the car and get the frequent service bus into the city centre for only £2.50 round trip, and you can use any bus in the city all; that using that ticket. 5 miles M8/M9, A720 City bypass, Airport There arte lots of golf courses to choose from, plus Livingston Designer Outlet and Almondell Country Park is just a 2 minute walk away where you can stroll down to the river after a busy day sightseeing. We accept all major credit cards with no surcharge.

Car: From the South and West: take M8 exit Junction 3, then A899 to Lizzie Brice,left onto B8046 through Midcalder to East Calder From the South and East: A720 City Bypass, exit A71, A71 through Wilkieston, then right onto B7015 for 1 mile From the North: M9/M90 to Junction 1 of the M8, then B7030 to Wilkieston, right on A71, right onto B7015 for 1 mile We are situated half a mile east of East Calder
